Frida Kahlo inspired Shadow Boxes

This week we made Shadow boxes inspired by Frida Kahlo. We used our washable acrylic paints and super cute colorful brushes, all available in store, and got to work. Each of our new friends got to take home an awesome project. We had a blast with everyone. Come on in next week for another craft inspired by Keith Haring!

If you don’t know, this event is part of our Saturday Morning Craft Bash’s — Free events every Saturday from 10-11am, where people ages 0-100 have the opportunity to try a new craft, listen to music, shop, and make friends.

Frida Kahlo Inspired Shadow Box

Kid Friendly Art Events

Hand-painted art made by a child at one of Just For Fun’s regular Saturday art events. Purple, yellow, and red paint are creatively used to produce a visually stimulating art piece.

Frida Kahlo Collage

Black and white images of Frida Kahlo, foliage, and flowers are glued to the shadow box and then adorned with red, purple, and yellow paint to create a compelling visual.
