About Us

Just For Fun is a family-run San Francisco institution—part toy store, part hobby shop, part community clubhouse. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, safe gathering spot for families, friends, and anyone seeking a little everyday adventure. From essentials and art supplies to delightful treasures, we aim to spark joy and connection in our neighborhood.

The Role

As a Retail & Community Associate, you’ll be the friendly face our guests count on—whether that’s guiding a parent to the perfect puzzle, running a weekend craft workshop, or simply making someone’s day with a smile. You’ll blend expert product knowledge with genuine hospitality to create memorable in-store experiences.

Schedule & Next Steps

Our shops are open seven days a week; availability on some weekdays plus flexibility to work weekends is required. If you’re passionate about fostering community, delighting families, and growing with a legacy local business, we’d love to hear from you!

Please apply with your resume and a brief note on your favorite childhood toy and why it mattered to you.

Just For Fun is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
